A student needs to present his/her ID card or passport at entrance examination.

How to apply

Applicant fills out the Application Form on line

After submitting application form, applicant is requested to download, print  and sign the application.

He/she has to bring it to the entrance examination together with:

  1. copy of General Certificate of Secondary Education Advanced Level
  2. Medical Statement of fitness to study
  3. passport or any other identity card

After a student is admitted all required documents  listed below have to be sent to the address of the faculty:

Form and content of the entrance examination

Entrance examination will take the form of written test in Chemistry and Biology. Subjects of entrance examination, in terms of the content, do not exceed the content of  a full secondary education in accordance with Section 57 par.  2 of the Act. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education.

A set of test questions for candidates consists of an equal number of questions in Biology and Chemistry. Maximum allowed time is 135 minutes. Formulation of questions and answers allows an applicant to select only one single unambiguously correct answer.  Each correct answer gives the candidate one point. Points are not deducted for incorrect answer.

The entrance examinations assessment and result publishing 

Tests assessment is anonymous, by scanning individual answer sheets on the basis of individually assigned identification codes.
Information about results of entrance examination will be available at the faculty webpage according to individually assigned identification codes and will be sent to the applicant.
