After nomination - information for incoming students
Once your home/sending university has completed your nomination, you will receive an automated email from us confirming receipt of your application and advising you on the next steps of the process. At this stage, your application is not completed. To finalise your application, you will need to upload the following documentation:
- A short CV
- Transcript of records (to date) from your sending university
- A copy/scan of your passport front page for ID purposes
- A passport-size picture
Only when you have completed these steps, your application is deemed complete and the JFMED Erasmus Office will issue your acceptance letter.
Learning agreement
JFMED is connected to EWP and accepts digital learning agreements.
Once your attendance at the JFMED has been confirmed (acceptance letter), you will have to complete your learning agreement. Ideally, you should be working with the coordinator from your home university when electing the JFMED subjects for your LA. This is to ensure that you meet the requirements of the learning plan at your home university.
We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to allowing you to select the subjects, but please be mindful of the following:
- Within reason, you can elect subjects from different consecutive years. For example, you can select subjects from the 4th or 5th (subsequent) years, however, you would not be permitted to mix subjects from the 2nd and the 5th years
- If you are staying for the full academic year, you should elect no more than 60 to 65 credits
- If you are staying for one semester, you should elect no more than 30 credits
Please note that the deadline for uploading the Learning Agreements to Mobility Online site is:
- 15th of June 2024 - for those starting in September 2024
- 15th of December 2024 - for those starting in February 2025
Academic year 2024-25
The academic year is split into winter and summer semesters and information about the structure, deadlines, timetables and individual study years can be found here
