Erasmus + is the new EU program for education, training, youth and sport, which is to be implemented in years 2014-2020. This seven-year program aims to improve skills, employability and support modernization of education, training and youth systems.
The new Erasmus + incorporates all existing EU programs for education, training, youth and sport, including the Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig), Youth in Action Programme and five programs of international cooperation (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink and program for cooperation with industrialized countries). The program will have a budget of 14.7 billion euro, a 40% increase compared to the previous programs, which Erasmus + incorporates.
The Erasmus programme for the academic year 2020-21
To complete the application form, you will need to log in with your AIS details. Once your application has been uploaded, you will receive a message about further documentation you will need to upload to the system. These include:
- A cover letter or also known as a motivation letter in English, explaining why you wish to participate in the programme
- Language certificates (if applicable) or college certificates from your home country. The college certificate should contain your grades achieved for the English language subject.
You will need to upload those documents to the system by 29.02.2020. Please note that the system will automatically close on 29th February and it will not be possible to add or update details in it after this date. Not providing the required documentation will render your application as unsuccessful.
