Protection of intellectual property

The Center for the Support of Science, Research, and Development ensures activities in the event of the need for intellectual property protection. It collaborates with the Technology Transfer Center of Comenius University in Bratislava (CTT UK), a workplace with university-wide scope.

Granted patents

  1. On 27 October 2021, the European Patent Office granted European patent no. 3447153 with the title METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE QUALIFICATION OF A SAMPLE FOR FETAL ANEUPLOIDY STATUS DETERMINATION IN NON-INVASIVE PRENATAL TESTING
  2. On July 8, 2024, the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic granted patent no. 289238 with the title METHOD FOR FETAL FRACTION DETERMINATION IN MALE-CARRYING PREGNANCIES IN NON-INVASIVE PRENATAL SCREENING
