Rules for submitting the application for the Ethics Committee approval regarding Bachelor/Diploma Thesis

Project for retrospective clinical studies must include:

  1. Application to the Ethics Committee for approval of the submitted clinical study. The application must be signed by the student.
  2. Annotation of the project with clear identification of the objectives and the method for their accomplishment. Annotation has to be signed by the student and the supervisor.
  3. Completed Basic form.

Project for prospective clinical studies must include:

  1. Application to the Ethics Committee for approval of the submitted clinical study. The application must be signed by the student.
  2. Annotation of the project with clear identification of the objectives and the method for their accomplishment. Annotation has to be signed by the student and the supervisor.
  3. Completed Basic form.
  4. Information for the patient in Slovak language.
  5. Informed consent in Slovak language.
  6. Assuring the insurance for clinical study participants.

Project for experimental studies must include:

  1. Application to the Ethics Committee for approval of the submitted clinical study. The application must be signed by the student with highlighted contact details (tel. number or e-mail)
  2. Annotation of the project with clear identification of the objectives and the method for their accomplishment. Annotation has to be signed by the student and the supervisor.
  3. Completed Basic form.
  4. Application to perform animal experiments must be submitted in accordance with the Law 23/2009 Coll. and section 21 of the Decree of the Government of the SR in all 6 points.

The Ethics Committee will review the project at the following meeting and the decision on your application will be sent to you by mail together with the Final Report which has to be delivered to us within one month after the completion of your study at the latest.
