Underage students

Underage students must be accompanied by an authorized person or a legal guardian when signing or prematurely terminating an accommodation contract.

Power of Attorney:

• It is granted by the legal guardian and must be signed by both parents of the minor. Only one person may be authorized.
• It must be notarized and include the signatures of the principals (parents) and the proxy (the person acting on behalf of the minor's parents).
• Ukrainian students may use the Template Power of Attorney SLJ/UA (pdf,153kB). 
• If the power of attorney is only in Ukrainian, a certified translation into Slovak is required.
• Template Power of Attorney in Slovak (pdf,113kB).
• Template Power of Attorney in English (pdf,118kb) ( translate not required).

If neither a parent/legal guardian nor an authorized person accompanies the student, accommodation will not be permitted.

The contract for an underage student must be signed by a legal guardian or an authorized person in person at the accommodation department in the presence of the students.
