Prof. MUDr. Eva Rozborilová, CSc.

Prof. MD. Eva Rozborilová, CSc., is a head of the Clinic of Pneumology and Phthisiology Jessenius medical faculty in Martin, Commenius University and University Hospital.

In her practice she has focused on the problem of tuberculosis and now she is focused on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma, what are also bases for her lectures and publications.

Within the graduate educational activities she is a lecturer and examiner in  propedeutic of internal diseases, internal medicine and phthisiology and she is also a member of state exam committee in Internal medicine. She is the referee for s specialization study program "Pneumology and phthisiology", she is a trainer of internal and external PhD students. She is also investigator and coinvestigator in several research projects.

In the field of curative and preventive care in addition to managing the clinic, she is a head of the Centre for providing oxygen therapy. She is a member of several professional societies, committees, councils and grant agencies, professional cooperator of the Office for Healthcare Supervision, holder of many honors.

She is a member of the Scientific Council Jessenius Faculty, Martin and she has been in the past two terms Jessenius vice-dean of the Faculty - for teaching and scientific research field.
