In accordance with current personal data protection legislation (GDPR), it is not possible to provide any information regarding the accommodation of individuals—specifically applicants for accommodation or subsequently housed residents—if those individuals have reached full legal capacity (adulthood). If representation of these individuals is necessary, an officially notarized power of attorney from the data subject (the adult applicant or resident) must be submitted.
A document template is available on the Comenius University OOU website. To expedite processing, the notarized power of attorney may be sent electronically to dpo@uniba.sk; however, representation is subject to the delivery of the original power of attorney to the following address: Responsible Person, Comenius University Bratislava, CIT UK, Šafárikovo námestie 6, P.O. BOX 440, 814 99 Bratislava 1, Slovak Republic. If you are a holder of a PWD (ŤZP) card with an entitlement to assistance, you must send us an officially notarized power of attorney to process data regarding your requested roommate. If you wish to handle the power of attorney in person, please contact CePIT for further information.
