Additional Requests for Accommodation

In the event that you remained below the cutoff line in the waiting list even after the line was shifted, or if you forgot to submit an electronic application for accommodation by the deadline of July 31, 2026, you may send an Additional Request for Accommodation to the Accommodation Office.

• Submission: Send the completed Additional Request via email to jana.kubickova@uniba.sk or andrea.simkova@uniba.sk.

We will process additional requests individually starting from August 30, 2026. If our accommodation capacity allows and a bed is allocated to you, we will immediately inform you about the allocation of accommodation via the email address specified in this request.

In the event that a bed is allocated:

- Information: We will send you all information regarding the allocated room in the University Dormitories  and the payment conditions via email.

- Payment Deadline: The student is obliged to pay a deposit of 50 EUR and the accommodation fee for 1 month. The payment is considered made when the amount is credited to the bank account of the VI specified in the notification.

- Full Month Rate: The accommodation fee is always paid for the entire calendar month of accommodation, regardless of the actual number of days of accommodation in that calendar month.

- Cancellation Policy: If the required amount is not credited to the bank account of the UD specified in the notification, the bed reservation will be canceled and the free bed will be offered to another applicant.

- Refund Exceptions: If a student cancels the bed reservation after making the payment or fails to move into the accommodation by the end of the reservation month, the 100 EUR deposit will be refunded, but the accommodation fee for 1 month will not be refunded.
