Main focus of scientific and research activities

  1. Detection of predictive and prognostic biomarkers using methods of molecular biology
  2. Oncopathology, especially hematooncopathology and oncopathology of prostate cancer
  3. Oncological diseases, such as breast cancer, tumours of male and female genital system, thyroid gland cancer, the so-called gastrointestinal stromal tumours, neuroendocrine tumours and skin tumours.
  4. Histopathological diagnosis of rare diseases.
  5. Biology of certain non-tumour diseases, especially of the skin.

Current projects and grants

APVV-23-0288, Immune checkpoint BTLA  as a potential biomarker in therapy of diffuse large cell B-lymphoma.
