Professor Ján Danko Honored at Comenius University’s 106th Academic Year Opening
During the opening ceremony of the 106th academic year at Comenius University in Bratislava, the university’s rector awarded medals to three distinguished individuals. Among the honorees was Professor Ján Danko, MD, CSc., former Dean of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine.
In the grand hall of Comenius University, Professor Danko received the prestigious Great Gold Medal from Rector Professor Marek Števček, JUDr., DrSc. The award recognizes his long-standing dedication to the university, his tireless advocacy for self-governance in public affairs, and his unwavering support of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, part of Comenius University.
