European Day of Languages
The European Day of Languages event at Hurbanova Primary School in Martin took place again this year, with participation from the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University and international students.
The goal of the European Day of Languages is to inspire people to learn foreign languages. Building on successful cooperation from previous years, the school reached out to the faculty once again. On Thursday, September 26, three of our international students—two from Norway and one from Germany—engaged in a discussion with the pupils.
During the discussion, the students introduced the children to their native languages, the countries they come from, as well as provided insights into the faculty, student life, and their reasons for choosing to study in Martin. They also shared their experiences of living here.
The students who participated in the event were:
Linn Andrea Dalene
Kristian Bernklev
Tobias Kunz
