All you need to know about the temporary residence permit and the application process when studying at Jessenius Faculty of Medicine.
In order to study in Slovakia, you will need to meet certain immigration and visa requirements. In general, if you are staying in Slovakia for 90 or more consecutive days, you will need to apply for the temporary residence permit. This permit is issued by the Department of Foreign Police and, after making an online appointment, you will need to attend your residence permit appointment in person.
All international students must apply for the residence permit. However, and depending on the country of your origin, the application process differs to a certain extent for the EU (EEA/EEC) and non-EU citizens.
Non-EU/3rd country citizens
