Enrolment for the 2022/2023 academic year

Enrolment for 2022/23


Enrolment will be held online for the 2nd to 6th-year students and on a face-to-face basis for the new 1st year students.

Face-to-face enrolment/registration for the 1st year students 

Will be held on Wednesday 14th of September

Online enrolment for the 2nd to 6th-year students 

You will be able to access online enrolment from the 22nd of August until the 16th September 2022.

When enrolling online, you will:

  • Confirm your study results from the previous (2021/22) academic year 
  • Agree to the creation of the registration form with the acknowledgement that you no longer can complete/undertake subjects in the 2021/22 academic year
  • Confirm that you will commence your studies in 2022/23
  • Confirm your personal details or, if necessary, update your personal details
  • Confirm that you have covered all study-related fees, including the ISIC stamp fee of €3 (compulsory) or €13 (optional)
  • Confirm your registration/enrolnment.

In the Documents“ section, you can print your School attendance certificate/letter and get it signed by your study officer. 

After you have completed your online enrolment, you will have to submit the following printed documentation to your study officer:

  • Study plan protocol for the 2022/2023 academic year signed by you
  • Transcript of records (TR) from 2021/22 AY (for archiving). The TR must be signed by you and will be used as the basis for awarding bursaries/scholarships. If you are experiencing issues with printing the TR from AIS, please contact your study officer. 

 The Study Department will confirm your enrolment only after you have submitted all required documents. Please note that you must submit your documents by 10th September 2022 and students of 5th and 6th years, by the 2nd of September at the latest. 

Once you have submitted the above-mentioned documentation, you will receive the ISIC validation stamp (sticker). You will then be able to activate your card at the terminal located on the ground floor at the Dean’s office. 

Other useful information 

  • The registration form will be created in AIS for the 2022/23 academic year, together with the study protocol that will include all compulsory subjects for the respective year
  • From 22nd of August 2022, you are free to add elective subjects to your study plan
  • In line with the Study Regulations, subjects that require completion of pre-requisite subjects can be added only after meeting this condition
  • If you are repeatedly enrolling on a pre-requisite subject and then complete it by the end of the winter semester exam/assessment period, you may add the follow-up subject to your summer semester study plan within the first two weeks of that semester
  • If you are enrolling on a stand-alone subject (one that does not have a pre-requisite), you have until the end of the 2022/23 academic year to complete it
  • You no longer need to submit an official request to repeatedly re-enrol a subject
  • Please contact your study officer if you have not completed and/or still have outstanding subjects from the 2021/22 academic year.

ISIC card and the validation stamp (sticker)

International Student Identification Card (ISIC) is internationally recognised proof that confirms the student status and offers a wide range of benefits and discounts. 

Existing students will have to pay for the new validation stamp at the beginning of the academic year. The following options are available:

  • €10 for the validation stamp that includes student benefits and discounts - optional
  • €3 for the ISIC card without a licence that excludes student benefits and discounts - compulsory for all students

Please note that all students must have ISIC cards while studying at the Faculty.

Paying for the ISIC card and the validation stamp 

All fees relating to the ISIC card are paid together with the school fees by the 16th of September 2022 and the students of the 5th and 6th years by the 31.08.2022 at the latest. The payment is done via BACS.
