Spring Picnic
On Wednesday, May 21, Jessenius Faculty of Medicine CU in Martin, in collaboration with international students and the Martin Medical Club, organized the Spring Picnic.
The JFM CU hosts a wide range of international students from various countries around the world, who only occasionally meet with Slovak students.
"The primary goal of this new event was to bring together different cultures over good food, helping our students to create mutual contacts and have a pleasant time together," said the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Andrea Čalkovská.
Tobias Kunz from Germany, who is studying in the English program, revealed that they would like to make the Spring Picnic a new traditional event for the faculty, to be held regularly every year. " It is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the diverse cultural variety we have at the faculty. To have fun, chat, and make new contacts. We prepared blankets so that students could sit on the grass, stalls with good food and drinks, and music playing. The weather was also favorable for the event. We thank the students for their preparation and look forward to next year.
